  • Am again here before you all with our family favorite breakfast dish – appo or paniyarams.
  • I have already posted the authentic urad paniyarams before .
  • This one is bit different from them as these are SABUDANA APPO OR PANIYARAMS.
  • I have always got those perfect golden paniyarams crisp from outside and soft inside.
  •  So try this for your next special breakfast

  • Urad dal - 1/2 cup
  • Raw rice - 3 cups
  • moong dal- one n half table spoon
  • chana dal - one n half table spoon
  • methi -1 tsp
  • sabudana - 1/2 cup
  • Apart from sabudana soak all other ingredients together for some 4 to 5 hours.
  • soak sabudana separately .
  • grind all together.
  • make the batter bit thick like the idli batter.
  • take care not to grind them very smoothly .
  • keep a very slight coarse texture .
  • keep for overnight fermentation in the morning add salt and 1 tsp of sugar.mix well .
  • The batter is ready for preparing paniyarams . serve hot with tasty garlic chutney
